Gifts from 'The Girls' - - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - they know me so well! Amongst other things, I unwrapped these delights, gifts from my daughters. I had so admired K's wine glass never expecting to find one in my 'stocking' and accompanied by champagne too. The shoes are a fabulous addition to my collection and will vamp up a pair of jeans very nicely. They are definitely going out on new year's eve. Thank you girls for such thoughtful and insightful gifts!
Today is quiet and very calm. R left to return home after breakfast, thankfully the weather is good for travelling. We are going to walk this afternoon which will help to offset the excesses of yesterday. Hoping to get out most days, temperature this morning was 12deg. and it's dry so excellent conditions for getting out and about.
