Don't need 4tune or fame

T'was the night before Christmas...

... & all through the house, not a creature was stirring... until the pooches discovered that their Santa teddy sang Jingle Bells, that is!

Started the day with an impromptu catch-up with friends! The shops had sold out of stockings & they hadn't managed to get one for their little girl, so they borrowed one I had hung for my pooches (good deed for the day). =)

Decked a little Christmas tree in the garden =) B&Q were selling their real trees for 1 pence! Ours was a gift from a friend, however, an annual Christmas tradition. The shops were sold out of lights, but it still looks beautiful with simple gold beads.

My Mother & I braved Sainsburys supermarket to pick up a dinner for tomorrow & boy, was it busy! My blip for today was very nearly an empty crate (all barring two bags) of cherries at £9.99 each! That was on 'special' too! Who buys those?! Was pleased to find some candy-canes for our tree, hadn't been able to find those anywhere! Our little cat takes it upon herself to pull them all off, for some reason. =)

Then we finished the day by catching up with friends for Christmas drinks!

My blip is of a small reindeer decoration that's been in our family for about 30 years now & comes out every Christmas season. He's slightly battered, a little bald in places & his antlers are loose, but he still looks noble!
