Fresh air..

Really needed to get some fresh air today after a bit too much to eat yesterday. We had some lovely sunshine for about 10 minutes before it disappeared but there was blue sky between the clouds.

Got our walking boots on and set off on our little trek round the village - there are quite a few footpaths through the fields so we could listen to the birds chirping away. Didn't manage any bird photos, they wouldn't stay still enough. Saw a buzzard being chased off by a couple of crows but from a distance so no good for my iphone camera (must sort out my camera again, it's showing an error and I need to work out what's wrong).

We climbed over a stile to get into a field to take this photo of an old tree stump, I think it looks a bit like a scary face - maybe I've been watching a bit too much Lord of the Rings/Dr Who!

I took a few other photos on the way round, including red berries against an old ruin, village church spire and this beech hedge.

Really glad we went out when we did, as it's been pouring with rain since not long after we got back home.
