Christmas tree decorating

May have been shortest daylight hours of the year, but it seemed like a very long day. Kids had half day at school.

I headed in to Edinburgh to do a couple of things including taking a pair of boots to be stretched. Have had to leave them in the shop though as they won't be ready before Christmas. No point in owning a pair of walking boots which make you feel like your foot is in a vice after 10 miles or so!

Then hanging about waiting for my dear other half to finish work so that we could progress to our cottage for Christmas (seeing as our home is still uninhabitable).

But when we got there (late after a diversion due to an accident at Windygates), it was time to unpack and decorate the tree. Hurrah! We're ready for Christmas.
