Swallowed up!

One minute we were having another fab walk on the dunes and the next........GONE! I had just looked away as G'Sparky came running towards me,then I heard a short yelp.When I looked back he was nowhere to be seen. I called his name,and set off in the direction where he had been and fairly swiftly found this hole which turned out to be about 3metres deep.Poor chap was looking very startled and covered in wet sand at the bottom with not much chance of getting out by himself as the sides were made of soft sand. Thank heavens I found him and touch wood no damage to any bones.
