Old Town Square
This is the Hus Monument pointing at the tower that rises above the Old Town Square. We seem to end up here every day. With the Christmas market thriving it seems always alive with people.
Today we explored most of the Jewish Town. An amazing place full of ritual and cultural diversity. We visited a synagogue in New York earlier this year so it was amazing comparing it with one from the second hbalf of the 13th century. It was incredible how much we remembered! The cemetery is extraordinary and a must see. There were hordes of tour groups which tend to ruin it a bit, but still, an amazing morning.
The afternoon was spent at the Opera House watching Swan Lake. We were in a box which was a bit of a saving grace because I kick my shoes off and have a little snooze during the boring bits.
If you like ballet, Orchid99, I reckon you'll love it tonight!
