Mary Jane's Last Dance*

I don't usually give my house plants names, I was inspired* to do so just this once, with just this withered hyacinth, for just one blip. To draw more parallels, the bulb will be replanted in spring, so it can wake up again, too.


PS. It seems to me the shadow resembles a dragon a bit. Must be this dragon-infested house I'm living in. Or should I blame the Chinese Dragon Year that is about to start very soon?
