Bobolink

Not as good a picture as I would like, but today is the first time I have seen a bobolink this summer, and I was excited to catch a glimpse. They are strange looking birds IMO because of the buff-colored cap on the back of their heads. I also saw a killdeer for the first time this summer. Aside from that excitement, it has been a delightfully quiet Fourth of July. I read a lot and cleaned a little, and that's about it. Happy 4th to everyone who celebrated!
