I've read many profound entries on reaching 365 blips

I can't match them

This is what fell off the shelf in Friday's 6.0 earthquake - a treasured ashtray which I souvenired from some drinking establishment in my youth and used as a candle-holder. If I dropped some piece of crockery or glass in the kitchen I would clean it up straight away. But this mess has sat there untouched for three days now.

I guess that says something about how I feel about earthquakes...

Great respect to those who reach 365 with consecutive blips. Even now that my studies are done and Christmas is over, I know I can't aspire to that.

But I love blip nonetheless
