Above the rooftops

It's been building up today. This evenings walk on the beach at sunset brought some spectacular sky, but no relief.
And then came the first rumbles.

Went down to the boat ramp where the view was superb. Unfortunately, every single mozzie on earth also appeared to be there, so a hasty retreat was beaten back home.

This was taken above the house opposite two doors down. I'd set the camera up on the drive.

I was in the garage ;)
