Juiz de Fora, Brazil

I didn't post for the past two days! Clearly, maintaining a daily post while traveling is going to be more challenging than I thought. And today honestly, looks like I'll have internet access only this morning so managing to take some quick photos of the city where we stopped for the night. We're in Juiz de Fora, about 3 hours north of Rio de Janeiro in the mountains of Minas Gerais. I took this photograph standing on the top floor of our hotel. You can see the range of neighborhoods in a typical Brazilian city. Tumbling down one hillside is a favela but you can also see the highrises and apartment buildings of a first world city. More tomorrow I hope!
