St. Michael's Mount

Not as impressive, to my mind, as Mont St. Michel in Brittany, but still worth a visit. Poor Daily Post's mother-in-law nearly had to be rescued from the causeway, as the tide came in fast and furiously, and she was in the middle!! Fortunately she got to the mainland in the nick of time! This was the only day we had bad weather during the whole week, but it all added to the atmosphere, especially when we visited the old tin mines later that day.
