Christmas surprise

We went for a walk along the beach at Kingsbarns this afternoon, and up to Cambo Estate and Cambo walled garden.

Glorious still afternoon, with the temperature at a balmy (!) 5.5 C.

We were surprised to find early snowdrops in bloom - not many, but good to see them. Cambo is THE place to go to see snowdrops. They're planning the 3rd Snowdrops by Starlight in February 2012 - 12th - 19th is when it will be on. Definitely worth going to see if you wrap up warm and take a tripod.
