Sloe down

I'm done in but it's all been worth it.

Tomorrow I get to go somewhere for a few hours where I can swim, eat, relax and reflect.

The kids are staying at home.

Today my house was filled with huge amounts of happiness and togetherness. It's the first time in years that my siblings and our cousins have all been together under one roof. Not to mention partners and countless offspring.

It was a very special occasion.

Nineteen for lunch, eaten in two sittings. Walks, films, family photos, memories of childhood and happily relived stories.

And Sloe Gin (I find it goes down quite fast actually and it's hugely medicinal).
