All of a Sudden...

After a pretty dark dismal day, I still didn't have a blip.

I had taken Euphling to the indoor skatepark at North Berwick. I was armed to the teeth with camera equipment, including tripod, brand-new Gorillapod (thank you, Euphette) new fancy fast lens (thank you Euphemia) and new lens cleaning tissues and fluid (thank you Euphling).

The only thing I didn't have was a battery in my camera!

So, as we were going to visit Allan, down the road, I set out for a walk along the coastal path, and then...

...the sun came out!!

And how!

So here with the tide in, and a small flock of widgeon ducks in the foreground, with the Winterfield golf clubhouse in the background is Belhaven Bay, in the only bit of sun all day.

There was also a great rainbow, but I didn't do it justice while still wrestling with my new lens.
