It's CHRISTMAS!

My parents never were and still aren't big Xmas fans.

I've been a mum for almost twenty years - which means that of course the children come first and I've always preferred to spoil them and not get loads myself. Hubby and ex long term partner took on board "Don't get me anything, I'm fine. Honestly" to the LETTER!

Things change...and NOT THIS YEAR!

My beautiful generous daughter Lily got me a HUGE pile of gifts. And I loved every single one. It was so lovely and so strange to open loads of pressies.

I got the most cool plate

A Twitter book AND some iTouch gloves so I can tweet outside! EEEKK!

Another owl to join the fella from last year. And bunting..both in my bedroom now *LOVES*

Bridesmaids DVD

Box of goodies from LUSH..lush!

And...a set of lovely rose lights that looked fab wrapped round the bush that was brought inside just for Xmas.

Lily and I watched Bridesmaids, ate a lovely Xmas dinner and chilled. BLISS.

And Xmas night ended nicely. REALLY nicely.
