PRAYING MANTIS...

Out picking flowers because the garden is full of them, and they smell so deliscious out there, I thought the smell inside would be great too - and it is! In the process I found a lovely lilly with a family of praying mantis on it... so of course, outs comes the new camera and snap, snap... and snap again! I liked this one because the little one if front seems to have an expression on his face, and the one behind seems to be looking on.

What are they praying for? well, world peace is too much to expect, but I'd like to hope they are praying for no more earthquakes, strength for the people of Christchurch and other damaged areas to be able to carry on with less stress and more certainty for their futures, friendship and happiness to everyone, and ....... some really nice fine days in a row so the poor haymakers can actually get the hay made!
