Ladybirds

Two ladybirds on a tree stump in a small area of woodland near the Carr Vale reserve. It doesn't look a very sheltered spot for them and they showed no sign of movement.....

My brother and the family came to visit from Bawtry (near Doncaster) - a belated Christmas get together. It was a nice time, but there was still chance to get out for a walk after they had gone. We also had a skype link-up with my other brother and sister-in-law near Chicago.
