Sunset over the estuary

I woke up at 6 this morning. No rain. I got up and let the dog out, he had refused to go out before we went to bed, can't say as I blame him, it was horrible out there. The next thing I knew, it was 10.45. I jumped out of bed, made breakfast and walked the hound.

I finished my marking and headed up the hill to the Dog Park to give Cousteau a longer, off-lead walk. It was a nightmare. I had to reverse the whole way down the hill in a convoy. There are some seriously inconsiderate people out there.

I had coffee with Mrs Kiwidino and then drove back down to the beach so that Cousteau could finish his walk/run. Here's the pier looking all baby pink and powder blue.

On the way past, I spotted this sunset happening. It was so beautiful.

Home now to an evening of cleaning and tidying.

I had a lot of fun with Cousteau on the beach, laughing and messing around, as you do. Tomorrow I aim to have some more fun.

Edit: in retrospect and with much deliberation, I prefer this shot to the last one. Sorry. :)
