Love Rivals

Our dog Rufus had a love rival this Christmas, in the shape of Teddie, the new puppy up at Karen's sister's home in Manchester. Rufus is a lovely dog but he'd make a terrible child. He stole all Teddie's toys and completely ignored him unless he tried to get affection from anyone in the room, at which point he barged in and pushed poor old Teddie away. The sweet little cocker spaniel spent the whole weekend desperate for Rufus to play. Finally, on Boxing Day evening, he got his way. This is how they ended up after a vigorous game of tug of war.
