Today's Weather Report

The only sunshine I'm going to see today, and maybe all week, is this smiling sun from Chocolate Necessities, paired with a sleeping moon in a fine example of the artistry of owner Kevin Buck and his staff.

Measuring just 1.75 in./4.5 cm across, they are too pretty to eat... at least while we have so much other chocolate to choose from, including two of these Chocolate Necessities truffles and two more, recently purchased, laced with Laphroaig single malt whiskey for New Year's Eve, as well as still more chocolate received as gifts on Boxing Day.

But Valentine's Day is just seven weeks away...
