High Seas.

Took a walk by the beach at lunchtime with Mum today; I think she wishes the sea was closer to their home in Harrogate. There were lots of boats sitting at anchor today, and the wind was so strong. This wave was not one of the biggest by any stretch of the imagination; the storm that's hitting M (who is currently on a rig somewhere on the median line between Shetland and Norway) is making its way into Aberdeen.

Braved the sales for about an hour (3 out of 4 items bought were full-price... fail), but was happy to bundle into the flat, put on the heating and eat a big plate of root vegetable frittata for our tea.
