Woods
Such a highly blustery day, it almost felt like my car might get taken from the road.
A very smart man who suited so much the hat he wore in his car drew up at the supermarket. I watched his silhouette against the fading light from the inside of my car. I wanted both for him to keep his hat on as he alighted so I could see his grandness and on the other hand for him to take his hat off before he got out, because that wind was going to rob him of it in an instant. Of course, he was able to think for himself.
The wind had dived in to my shopping bag just prior to this and, as quick as any pick-pocket, had taken the receipt of my purchases and tossed it right into the air and off on some unknown reckless journey. Funnily enough as I drove out to meet the road I'm sure I saw it hurtling up the road before me although I couldn't be sure if it was my listed goods or another mugged shoppers.
