Puppy training

An important part of puppy training is controlling access to their food - partly so they know who top dog is, but also so they don't have your arm off when you put their bowl down! The usual way of doing this is to make them sit after you put their food down, and lift it away if they try to eat it before you tell them to.

Fortunately Skye learned this pretty quickly - but she does inflict the full "Puss-in-Boots" eyes on you until you let her eat.

Unfortunately she is having trouble with dodgy guts - thought we had it sorted this week, but then we were up almost every hour last night letting her out - but at least she was asking to go out, rather than just doing it on the carpet.

So she is on a simple food diet of rice, turkey, tuna and eggs until we get her sorted out. Nevis is getting a bit jealous, cause he's still on normal dog food.

(Just back from another Dressage show - Mrs B chuffed as she got another big red 1st Rosette)
