Swan's Seagull

First day back at work after the Christmas break is always a hard one, and today I was hideously tired after my walk in the Cheviots and dinner for a friend's birthday last night.

I have been unable to get warm for over 24 hours now and I'm craving carbohydrates, so I decided to talk a walk down the Fish Quay to get some chips for my lunch. Any good they did me was undone because it was blowing a gale down there, but I did manage to get this shot of a seagull silhouetted against the Swan Hunter shipyard in the background.
