Holiday Hound

I had a number of blips from today, but this one I thought was the one.

We started out the day by heading to the butchers in Fort William to pick our turkey up for Sunday. I had emailed ahead and ordered the turkey a couple of weeks ago... something I had managed to do through a very weary haze!

R braved the chaos that was Morrisons to get our final bits and pieces for Sunday whilst I looked after Angie.

We then 'rewarded' Angie's patience with a walk to the gorge behind Ben Nevis area. Ang loved it and we got extremely wet as the rain was horizontal!

R was hoping for a pint of Nessies Monster Mash at Nevis in at the bottom of the path, the finishing point after completing Ben Nevis. Sadly Nevis Inn wasn't open. No pint for R!

Then back to the comfort of the cottage. :-)
