39th birthday

Today I turned 39. Today I also published a list of forty things to do before I am 40. Number 11 on the list is 'take a photo daily' so here I am. A bit late in the day, but a girl has to celebrate you know. So, here is my birthday cake, with candles still intact, after a delicious roast beef dinner cooked by my wonderful husband. And he made me breakfast in bed. And he made me my favourite things - mussels - for lunch. Lucky old me. So there are a lot of days and photos between now and turning 40 - I am really looking forward to documenting them here.
