Edinburgh Night Shoot
Today was recovery day from a lot of late nights and alcohol!
A very lazy day where we checked out of the hotel, had a lovely breakfast together, lunch and snoozed!
I have been wanting to do an Edinburgh night shoot for a long time, but up until 9pm tonight it was gales and showers!
We managed to get out later on and took a jaunt to Edinburgh from Falkirk.
It was quiet compared to a busy shopping day, but surprisingly busy for 10pm Wednesday evening.
There was a strange eeriness on Princess Street as all the preparations are going on for the Hogmanay street party and New Years celebrations. Lots of hoarding, barriers and concrete blocks up already.
It did look incredibly pretty though with twinkly lights wrapped around the trees in the gardens and some of the buildings looking very festive.
This shot was taken in Princess Street, looking over at the castle in the distance, with the Christmas Wonderland all set up.
