Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi

Wow, what a fantastic morning.

I have to admit that I love Mosques and minarets, and grand architecture, and this did not disappoint. What did disappoint was the fact that I had dressed appropriately, yet they still made me wear an abayah over everything, so I was sweltering, and tripping as I squated, and fiddled with my tripod, and played around for what seemed ages.

This is an interesting shot, it is impossible to show the full grandeur of design in a single image, and there were people everywhere.
