Behold-
Clovis, an orphan child abandoned by his parents into a pond on the day of his becoming.
Deep in the water he learnt to stay alive feeding on the squiggly things that inhabit pond sludge.
He sleeps with the fishes but not in the Sicilian way.
He has no malice and knows not about love.
He likes 3 things-boots, peas and the sweatiness and startling of nightmares-they feed him and give him emotion.
