The Plumstead Common Environment Group have expressed concern that the clock atop The Link Building might never work again. Orange have requested permission to install a cell there and have proceeded with the installation of cable trays it seems.

Electromagnetic pulses are the root of the concern. Personally I think this is all a bit sci-fi and unlikely to be an issue. The sight of a mobile phone mast is another matter The clock hasn't worked for years by the way, but there is hope!!
