The mystery behind yesterday's designer bokeh is revealed...........

Simply cut a small shape (1cm or less) into a bit of card. Select the widest aperture you can. Line up some out-of-focus fairy lights - I have found I need to be at full zoom, but I'm not using an SLR so not sure if that matters. Hold the little cut shape as close to your lens as possible. Press the shutter. Say a little prayer. Ta Da. Designer bokeh.
Maybe its time for a blip-bokeh off - best shape wins???
