Rockefeller Centre, New York
This is only one of two images I appear to have taken on this day, not very interesting in itself, but it does remind me of the questionable artistic taste of John D Rockefeller who once commissioned a splendid mural by Diego Rivera for his foyer on the advice of his mother. It was called Man at the Crossroads, but when the Rockerfeller management discovered Rivera's communist sympathies it ordered the mural to be demolished. If you drew a line in the sand between Rockefeller and Rivera, I know where I'd stand.
