Dreary day :(:(

Dull and dreary.

As i mentioned yesterday today was a big day so up nice and early to get ready, although the parents were a bit later up tut! tut! we made lunch and once M. arrived ( a friend who was playing) we headed off.

We stopped off to take a look at our little piece of land which we have in our old village, although you couldn't really see it as it was so overgrown i had a little adventure but its going to take about a week S. reckons, a job for another day :D

so we made it to Glenalmond College and the first semi was already underway, it was dull and dreary and raining on and off which was the story of my day, the first semi finshed and Grange went through so next it was our turn. we won the toss and decided to field they set 100 in the 15 overs (although it should have been 20 but due to the weather the umpires decided that 15 was better). So we went in to bat and reached their total and a bit more ( 104 ) with 7 overs to spare.

The final wasn't so good. we lost they set 106 and we only got 90 in the 20 overs (we played 20 as the weather had brightened up a bit but was still cloudy). I got in to bat and in the end i got out but only on the last ball ( iwas run-out ( my fault)). So was a bit down but had an ok day although a bit dull and dreary although we did get a chinese for dinner as we were to too tired to cook. i was a bit happier.

Quick shower, blip and now bed :(:(
