Feast and Famine

So this is the aftermath of the festivities. Can it really be true we ate all these in the short period leading up to the break?

Now there is a famine in the office, all the chocolates have been consumed and there remains only the memory, and possibly some weight that has remained to be lost.

We are assured all these empty tins will find a good home with the Guides. Don't know what they are going to do with them, but better the Guides have the tins empty rather than full.

The weather was was pretty wild again when I left the office, and there were some patches of ice. Tried to book somewhere for dinner on New Years Eve, but there was no room at the inn. Do I have my festivals mixed up?
