Dinner in Munich

This restaurant is just ten minutes from our hotel, offering excellent German fare and a warm atmosphere.

We slept late this morning, adjusting to the time change; we spent the afternoon at the Alte Pinakothek, one of the world's great collections of old master painting. It was if anything better than I remembered it, with extraordinary breadth beyond the German and Netherlandish works which one expects.
