Bradford Blipmeet

Four of the Bradford District blip community managed to meet up in town today, and I'm the last to post. It was great to have another chance to chat with @appertunity, @yearofhappy and @Wendles56, and you can see other group self-portraits on, or linked through their journals for today.

It was chucking it down, so we mostly stayed within the shelter of the National Media Museum, exploring the permanent displays and one of the temporary photography exhibits. Here we are in the Magic Factory floor, which explores different aspects of optical illusion and image manipulation. The left hand circle captures Jason, myself and Wendy, and the right hand one myself, Wendy and Rachel.

Later, I bumped into @appertunity again as we explored the newly opened City Park, he was kind enought to picture me in the fountains, so here he is doing the same. Given the wind and the rain, an extra bit of wetness didn't seem to matter too much.

It was a shame that others like @PaulFS, @earthdreamer, @Alicemaylara, @Jeanneb53 and @drmackem weren't able to make it this time, but I'm sure we'll catch up with each other eventually.

We may built our international online communities virtually, but it's nice to have a tangible, place-bound, local group of blippers to share the experience with too.
