Mission Creek

The kids and I went for a winter walk through Mission Creek today. It was not as sunny or warm as yesterday but very pleasant. The smell of the pine trees was wonderful. I couldn't help but wonder if I would see more wild life if I didn't have the kids running and yelling around with such exuberance. Ah well, they had a great time and didn't want to end the walk even though both kids had managed to soak their shoes in the ice puddles.
