Waiting for the' big one'

Warm and muggy is exchanged for cloudy,cool and wet..
Today I drove out to Waikuku with Julie as she will be officiating as the marriage celebrant for a nice couple. Today was to ensure all was going to plan and on course for the big day next week, so I took the opportunity (never let the chance go by) to take some photos of the area whilst she met with them.
Waikuku (30 km north from Christchurch) has a lovely beach area, it is another area similar to Brooklands with wetlands, estuary and ocean. Watched the lone surfer out in the ocean....doesn't look like much of a swell but there was rolling waves as he bobbed about, as peaceful and serene as it looks it was the site of a couple of earthquakes yesterday 10km deep and 10k out from Waikuku beach!!
The latest swarm of earthquakes are centered more out to sea....should we be worried?????
