Caloundra - Dicky Beach

Me, Jo and Mum took the hour long drive up the coast to Caloundra this morning. It is probably one of the most underrated holiday destinations close to Brisbane. Jo and I haven't been to Dicky beach for at least 10 years. Shame on us. It is a great swimming beach without too many people.

Initially Mum was a bit reluctant to get into the surf. But as you can see from the official movie, she warmed to the waves.

Me, I could play in the surf all day but I realised how unfit I am pretty quick.

Half a day in Caloundra and we were all knackered.
