Hooded Crow

A stuffed crow, something of an emergency blip since I am trying not to leave too many gaps. :-)

Corvus cornix used to be thought of as a subspecies of Corvus corone the Carrion Crow and it has only been discovered fairly recently (2002) that the two do not hybridise readily and if they do, the offspring are weak. Kind of funny that it took that long.
