A bleak December day - looking down the Bridges
Weatherwise, today started off drab and went downhill pretty quickly and is now wet, none too warm and dark grey. That being the case, I am glad I had a walk round the city centre earlier than later. The reason for this being that a rattle appeared under, so in it went to the ever so lovely Kwik Fit Fitters for their thoughts. Thankfully, it turned out that the heat shield had dropped and just needed to be refitted ... no charge!
Anyway, the city is getting ready for Hogmanay tomorrow, with loads of crash barriers going up in Princes Street and I am sure much fun will be had.
Oh by the way, for those of you in Edinburgh tomorrow, Mollie the Gorgeous Collie has organised a blipmeet up Blackford Hill (near the observatory) at 11am, so if you are around, feel free to bring yourselves and cameras to say hi.
Have a nice day, all.
