Porthleven
A ride down to the Lizard, the most southerly point of our lovely country. The tiniest cafe there. But, wow, the most fantastic crab sandwich followed by a huge meringue, with mahoosive dollop of ice cream, clotted cream and some blackberry and apple sauce.
We walked around the lighthouse, it was having to serve it's purpose, working well and the foghorn was sounding, how eerie?! A really foggy, rainy day. But still great.
Then Porthleven on the way back. Maybe the pub across the road later with MrC. Quite fancying a drink or two, in a pub with log fires, looking out on a stormy sea. Aaaah.
I just love this place.
