The Danube Bend at Esztergom

We left the boat at Eszergom to visit the cathedral which is the main church of Hungary. The picture is taken from the church grounds. The bridge crosses from Hungary to Slovakia.

We then drove on through Visegrad and Szentdre to Budapest to re-join the boat. We moored in the centre of the city, by the Margaret Bridge.

In the afternoon we visited Heroes Square on the Pest side and then the Mathias Church on the Buda side.

This is my 200th blip, wasn't sure which day it would fall when I was away, so wasn't able to look for something more appropriate!!

Blipping has made me more aware of my surroundings and an even bigger pain in the a..e taking hundreds of pics!!
