" The Driving Force of All Nature "
I feel a bit New Years Eve'sy Today
I really am not a fan of the big night but I am a fan of new starts and new years.
Had my final run of the year and it felt great. It was very very rainy, very very muddy, icy cold and finger numbing and I got caught in grasses, nettles and thorns... perfect ( and my legs will look a treat in a dress tomorrow night).
I feel so ready for 2012 but did feel a touch emotional when I stopped at this wier to take some photos. I always feel calm and peaceful near water but also very contemplative. I have loved so very much about 2011, in many ways it's been a vintage year, but I am also really sad to say goodbye to some things in 2011.
That aside 2012 is already exciting for me, I have a marathon booked and relish the challenge but , well there's a but and that's all I will say right now ( note to self the " but" will mean something definetely when I read this next year )
This was my last view as I turned to run back to the car and it expressed optimism to me. I am not sure why, something to do with water always being there and always being constant and always being a comfort. Whilst ever there is nature and views like this, there will always be a reason to run.
Whilst ever there is music like this, there is always reason to smile
Happy New Year's Eve Eve
xx
Oh and that's a Leonardo quotation by the way ( Da Vinci not DiCaprio)
