Branches and Drops

What a day weather wise! It's so miserable out there, and soggy and muddy, and cold and BLAH! I guess it was the right kind of day for sitting at the computer putting the finishing touches to 'Carlyle Adventures 2011' and uploading it before tomorrow so that I could claim the 25% off - only to find that the small print said I had to spend £50 to qualify, hah! At least the book is done and runs to 80+ pages which means we have had quite a few adventures this year, which is good.

All this means that I had to spend a very cold half an hour with the bedroom window wide open trying to blip something in the elder tree but the poor birds were so sodden too that they were not hanging around long enough to be decently blipped. You need to imagine that there are blue tits, great tits, a coal tit, chaffinches, goldfinches, sparrows, a robin, a siskin and assorted collared doves and jackdaws sitting on these branches!
