Advice on how to get it right

We thought we would seek advice from this wonderful old book on entertaining. Written approx 75 years ago, it's a joy to read, and an insight on how it used to be done. - " It does not matter if your home is large or small, whether you have a maid to help you or not; your hospitality can still be charming and in good taste and need not involve you in any great expense."
