Almost on the equator yet a few minutes after this photo was taken we had to dash inside s a heavy hail storm blew in with hail the size of peas!!!!

having only been able to take one day out of our trip schedule to acclimatise with a walk round an extinct volcano a couple of days earlier we were both feeling the combined effects of cold and altitude
