Under the arches

Oxford Street beckoned us today with the lure of bargains. I don't like sale shopping but Matt wanted to have a look in a couple of shops. It was cold and wet but the Christmas lights reflecting in the pavements looked beautiful.

We watched Defiance tonight. An amazing film based on an account of the Bielski partisans, a group led by three Jewish brothers who saved the lives of thousands by living in the forest during the Second World War. A very thought provoking film and I would recommend it.
