At a party. Slightly frazzled.
Sitting on the loo wondering why things
have turned out the way they have this year,
What else could I have done?
What else could I have said?

I look up.
And I see the light.

Suddenly, I know what I did wrong,
what I should have said.
How I could have made it all work.

I woke up this morning not
remembering a thing.
